Emma Thackham
Emma is an art therapist with 20 years of experience working in the community arts sector, with charities and academia. Through a psychodynamic approach to therapy, she offers tailored art therapy services to Looked after Children and Adoptees and the wider family involved in Fostering and Adoption support, as well as Women experiencing trauma or domestic abuse. She provides a relaxed and person centred approach, supporting creativity as a means of self-expression.
Emma has experience working with neurodivergence such as Autism and ADHD too.
Emma offers one to one sessions or group sessions, in person or online, always providing a warm, friendly confidential and safe setting.
She works within schools, the youth justice service, with unaccompanied asylum seeking children and within client’s homes too.
